The Classic King Room was spotlessly clean and exceptionally bright, creating a lovely atmosphere to unwind after our adventures.
We were disappointed to discover no clear notice about the hotel not accepting babies, which left us in a difficult situation upon arrival.

close to charming cafes and beautiful parks for weekend strolls
during my stay, I discovered how easy it was to visit the New Forest National Park, just a short stroll away, and I loved being only a few steps from delightful cafes like The Willow Tree Cafe for my morning coffee, making each walk around the area a true pleasure.

We had an amazing time exploring the New Forest National Park and relaxing at the lovely garden area. David and Rosetta were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, helping us plan our days. The breakfast spread was excellent and definitely something to look forward to each morning. Highly recommend trying the smoked Haddock!
We noticed that the lack of clear communication regarding room accessibility may cause inconvenience for some guests.

We stayed in a Classic King Room, which was super spacious and really bright. The bed was incredibly comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a long day. It was decorated beautifully and spotlessly clean. Plus, the shower pressure was great even on the top floor! Having access to the big kitchen was a big bonus for making tea and grabbing breakfast whenever we wanted. Seriously, loved the vibe of the room and the whole place!

We had a fantastic time enjoying the spacious kitchen and how cozy the common lounge felt. The garden area offered a lovely spot for morning coffee and a peaceful corner to unwind in the evening. While our room was nearly perfect, it could use a tiny bit more storage space. Don't skip breakfast—it was amazing! ☕

great stay but needs a bit more storage
The room was spacious and beautifully decorated, providing a very comfortable atmosphere. The kitchen was well-stocked, allowing us to prepare our own meals easily. We also enjoyed the lovely garden view, perfect for our morning tea. The owner was genuinely friendly, making our visit even more enjoyable.
More storage space in the room would have been helpful.

Just a fitting option for a lightning stop in Lyndhurst with good value. The breakfast was a great start to the day. Look for local pubs for a nice evening meal.
